Tonights topic: Living a life of Presence: The Mindful Path Mindfulness involves paying attention on purpose to our moment- to-moment experience with kindness and objectivity. Regular practice of mindfulness had been shown to reduce stress and increase positive emotions. This can be cultivated using mediation based practices and games that enhance attention, balance and compassion. These practices can be particularly relevant to women given all the competing demands for our attention and can help keep us grounded in challenging situations.
In this experiential seminar, participants will get multiple opportunities to practice mindfulness and will learn how to integrate it into their lives. In addition, there will also likely be some fun along the way.
